Our classes focus on traditional forms, basic stances, blocks, strikes, kicks, sparring, and close-in fighting, with an emphasis on developing power, balance, aerobic capacity, and coordination in an atmosphere of fun and hard work.
Kajukenbo provides an arena for self-growth that balances our physical, mental, and spiritual sides. Self-awareness and self-confidence are strengthened as we develop self-control and personal power rooted in harmony, respect, and peace.

New students may start taking classes at the beginning of each month. Classes focus on Kajukenbo basics (stances, blocks, kicks, strikes and self defense theory and practice) as well as initial forms and partner work. These initial classes are intended to give new students a foundation in Kajukenbo basics in order to prepare them for work in the all-levels classes.

Schedule: Introductory classes meet Monday (7:15-8:30 pm), Wednesday (7-8:30 pm) evenings, and Saturday mornings (11:30am-12:30pm) after an average of 12-16 classes, students may also attend any of the all level and specialty classes. (Full class schedule is available on the schedule page.)
